Bonus Terms Explained Simply
Confused by wagering, rollover, sticky bonuses? Here's a plain-language breakdown of the terms every Filipino player should know before claiming any promo.
Wagering Requirement / Rollover
This is the number of times you need to bet your bonus amount before you can withdraw any winnings from it. A 10x rollover on a ₱500 bonus means you must place ₱5,000 in total bets before cashing out. It is the most important term to check before claiming any bonus.
Example: ₱500 bonus × 15x rollover = ₱7,500 in total wagers required before withdrawal.
Maximum Bet During Bonus Play
When you have an active bonus, most casinos cap the maximum bet per spin or round — typically between ₱250 and ₱500 per bet. Placing bets above this cap while a bonus is active can result in bonus cancellation. Always check this limit before playing with bonus funds.
Example: If the max bet cap is ₱300 and you bet ₱500 per spin, the casino may void your bonus and associated winnings.
Game Contribution Rate
Not all games contribute equally toward your rollover requirement. Slot games typically contribute 100% — so every ₱1 wagered on slots counts as ₱1 toward the rollover. Table games like baccarat, blackjack, or roulette often only contribute 10%–20%, meaning you need far more bets on those games to clear the bonus.
Example: ₱1,000 wagered on baccarat at 10% contribution = only ₱100 counted toward your rollover target.
Bonus Expiry Date
Every bonus has a validity window — the time you have to use and clear the bonus before it expires. Common windows are 7, 14, or 30 days. If the rollover is not completed before expiry, both the bonus and any bonus-derived winnings are typically forfeited.
Example: A welcome bonus credited on Monday with a 7-day expiry must be fully wagered by the following Sunday midnight.
Sticky vs Non-Sticky Bonus
A non-sticky bonus can be separated from your cash balance — you can withdraw your real money first, then play with the bonus. A sticky bonus stays in your account permanently attached to your funds; you cannot withdraw the bonus itself, only the net winnings earned from it after clearing the rollover.
Example: Sticky bonus of ₱500 with 10x rollover — after wagering ₱5,000 you can withdraw winnings only, not the ₱500 bonus amount.
Maximum Cash-Out from Bonus
Even after successfully clearing a rollover, many casinos cap the maximum amount you can withdraw that was derived from a bonus. This is usually expressed as a multiple of the original bonus amount. Check this before claiming, especially on free spin bonuses where max cash-out can be as low as ₱500–₱2,000.
Example: Free spin bonus with 5x max cash-out on ₱200 bonus = maximum ₱1,000 withdrawable regardless of how much you won.
